During our session, I’ll gently guide and prompt you so real moments can unfold naturally. While you focus on each other, I’ll document the connection, laughter, and quiet moments that make your family yours.
Your only job is to show up ready to love on your people.

From Start to Finish
Our session usually begins with a few classic portraits to warm everyone up. Once we have those, things naturally loosen up and the real magic begins.
From there, I focus on capturing the in-between moments — the laughter, the movement, and the connection that tells the story of your family in this season of life.
If being in front of the camera makes you nervous (you’re not alone!), don’t worry. I’ll guide you throughout the session and help you focus on each other rather than the camera.
By the end, we’ll capture a few more classic portraits — often some of my favorites — full of joy, connection, and that feeling you’ll want to remember years from now.

To get the best results, and to create images that are unique and meaningful, you have to let go of being nervous about your photos taken. Be vulnerable and trust my process. I know it’s hard, but if you’re nervous and you feel insecure, it’s going to show up in your pictures. These are the photos that your kids and grandkids are going to look back at to remember you, so if you want to look like yourself in the photos, you have to show up and be yourself so that I able to capture that. I promise you’ll look amazing!
Don’t be afraid to move around and talk during our session. The more realistic your interactions are, the more realistic and cherished your images will be. Don’t worry, I will move you if you look too stiff. I will tell you to stand up straight if you’re slouching, and I will fix your hair and clothes when needed. Your only job is to show up relaxed, ready to love on your humans. Photo sessions don’t have to feel like a chore. I will make sure it’s fun, stress-free, and something you look forward to every year. So, relax and enjoy!
