The Heart Behind the Lens
I’m a full-time photographer, wife to an amazing and talented man, and mama to three loves — JT, Kingston, and Boheme. I was born and raised in a small town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and I can’t remember a day in my childhood when I wasn’t creating something.
Gymnastics was a huge part of my life growing up and through college, and the discipline, focus, and dedication it demanded shaped so much of who I am today. Being a gymnast taught me early that self-expression was more than a hobby — it was a way of life. That same drive and attention to detail is something I carry with me now behind the camera.
What Inspires Me
When I don’t have a camera in hand, I’m usually editing, cleaning the house, running my kids around, or planning our next family adventure with my husband, John.
I’m inspired by God, beautiful light, authentic connection, music, earth tones, windblown hair, California sunsets, summers in Maine, deep conversations, rainy days, learning, and evolving.
My work is rooted in gratitude — for the light that guides us, the connections we share, and the quiet beauty woven into everyday life.

How it all Began
I’m often asked how I became a family photographer. The truth is, family photography found me. I started by documenting my own three children in a candid way — and soon I was being asked to photograph other families the same way. I still remember how nervous I felt shooting my very first family session. My kids were used to a camera in my hand and simply ignored it… but how was I going to help a family I’d never met do the same?
Ten years and countless sessions later, I’ve learned how to create space for real connection — not just a posed version of it. It lights me up when clients say,“I had no idea you captured all of those moments because it felt like we were just hanging out and laughing the whole time.”
