Family
Being a wife and mama myself, family photography is one of my favorite things to shoot. Whether it be photos for your holiday card, newborn baby, maternity, or just because you haven’t had a family picture in a while, I’m all in. I love to work with kids of all ages and create a fun experience together. Best news? You don’t have to worry at all about your grumpy teen, your out-of-control toddler, or your photo resistant husband. That’s my job and I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve. These sessions are more than just an hour of you standing in front of my camera with a fake smile. We’re going to have fun while making photographs that speak to the heart and soul of who you and your family are, and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me.
Lifestyle Newborn
Lifestyle Newborn sessions have my whole heart. They are relaxed and free flowing with a focus on simplicity, connection, and storytelling. Those first weeks at home with a newborn are a blur: your baby is growing faster than he or she ever will, and there is just so much to get used to! If being a mama has taught me anything, it is that the days are long but the years are lightening fast. One minute your baby is a sleepy newborn; the next minute your sweet little one is crawling around and oh-so-curious about the world around them; and the next minute they are asking to borrow the car. It’s truly dizzying how fast it goes. These photographs will allow you to look back and remember those first days exactly as they were and not just some fake, posed version of this fleeting moment in time.
Couples
There is something so cool about documenting the connection between soul mates. I love to get to know the essence of my couples and tell their unique story through images. I want you to look back at your photos and think, “Wow, this is so US!” Did you just get engaged? Are you planning a proposal and want it documented? (omg yes!! proposals are my fav!) Are you celebrating your anniversary? Are you having your first baby? Do you just want some love-soaked pictures with your boo? Then I am your girl. We can hang out at your home with a bottle of wine, run and play together at the beach, meet up in the desert and explore amazing landscapes, catch the sunrise at a location special to you–anything goes!
Maternity
Maternity sessions celebrate and document the precious new life growing within. I know some of you mamas are hesitant about maternity photos because your body is going through a transformation and you may not feel like yourself. However, carrying a child is one of the most magical experiences in a women’s life and it deserves to be documented. I feel like 28 to 32 weeks is the perfect timeframe for most moms-to-be because your belly is of ample size yet you’re not as “puffy” and uncomfortable as you may be in your last 4 to 6 weeks. Although, I have shot plenty of maternity sessions close to delivery with beautiful results as well. My Maternity + Newborn + Birth Packages are wonderful if you love discounts and know you want the whole experience documented.
